\"computerWhat’s in an email address you ask? Well more than you think. An email is your calling card whether personal or for business and it says something about you and is often the first impression you make today. Alas, I remember the old days when we actually met in the real world.<\/p>\n

But what I really want to start with is a warning about using the email supplied by your internet provider ie Rogers, Bell, Shaw etc (for those of us in Canada). Why you ask? Well first and foremost, if you decide to switch to another provider you will loose your email address as its tied to the provider. Those who have done this understand the frustration.<\/p>\n

We recommend a gmail account. And we are the first to admit we like Google’s apps. They are easy to use across devices and of course it doesn’t matter who supplies the internet.<\/p>\n

As a small business, your email is an opportunity to introduce your brand and keep reintroducing it with each email.
