This is part 2 of her glossary series.<\/p>\n A narrow, rectangular box in the browser window where you can type in a web address.\u00a0 Typing in the web address in the address box and hitting Enter on the keyboard will take you to a website.\u00a0 The address bar will look slightly different, depending on the browser you are using, i.e., Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Internet Explorer.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n These arrows are found at the top of most browsers.\u00a0 \u00a0When you click on the back arrow, it takes you back \u2013 in order \u2013 through all of the web pages you have seen.\u00a0 After you have clicked on the Back Arrow, the Forward Arrow becomes available to move forward through the web pages you have seen.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n To explore a website or a number of websites by scanning and reading information.<\/p>\n Software, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Internet Explorer, used to find information on the internet.\u00a0 The most visible part of a browser sits at the top of the computer screen, above the web page.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Small box that looks like it\u2019s being depressed when you select it.\u00a0 Buttons can turn on ( and turn off) many types of functions on the Internet.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n A small image on the screen indicating where you are pointing; the mouse controls the movements of the cursor.\u00a0 The cursor can appear in different forms, including:<\/p>\nAddress Box<\/h2>\n
