It is time to start thinking about updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Why you ask? Well because starting in January 2020, Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7. What does that mean? It means that there will not be anymore updates to the software, leaving in vulnerable to new cyber attacks and vulnerabilities. And therefore expose your data to the bad guys out there looking to take advantage.

Lots of people we run into are not sure of Windows 10. It looks different. They remember the roll out for earlier versions and the issues that arose. Windows 10 is a reliable and stable operating system. It has a decent anti virus program baked into it. We can configure it to look more like Windows 7. I believe you will pick it up very easily. Microsoft being Microsoft has renamed a few things and so you will have a small learning curve but it is not too bad at all.

In all likely hood you are running an older computer if you are still on Windows 7. As you know, computers life expectancy is around 4 to 6 years now. But we have several older computers that we have done the update for in conjunction with replacing the hard drive with a solid state hard drive. This has given new life to these computers. They are work horses. A new solid state hard drive ranges in price from $90 up.
